Orbitwire (formerly Rebuilt in 3D) is a YouTube channel that shows the world's most famous trending stories (flight incidents, earthquakes, storms, floods, major attacks and disasters, and the lives of famous people who have died) with 3D reconstructions built from public data: seismic data, open elevation data, Wikidata and official reports.
Every video states only facts confirmed by official sources or multiple independent major outlets, labels its visuals as a reconstruction from data (not real footage), and lists its sources in the description.
This site also hosts the information page for the channel's own publishing tool ("Rebuilt in 3D tools"), which the channel owner uses to upload videos and read the channel's own analytics. It has no other users.
